We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Research Engineer to join our SONAR team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting advanced security research, identifying and analyzing emerging threats, and developing innovative solutions to protect our customers. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cybersecurity, with a focus on novel adversary research and operations.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Conduct advanced security research to identify and analyze emerging threats and vulnerabilities.,Develop and implement innovative security solutions and tools to protect Elastic's customers and infrastructure.,Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security research findings into product development and operations.,Perform threat intelligence analysis and provide actionable insights to the security operations team.,Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in the field of cybersecurity.,Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.,Publish research findings and contribute to the broader cybersecurity community through conferences, blogs, and other outlets.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.,8+ years of experience in security research, threat intelligence, or a related field.,Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.,Experience with security tools and frameworks, such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Metasploit.,Familiarity with reverse engineering, malware analysis, and vulnerability assessment techniques.,Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.,Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.,Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

🛠️ Keahlian

Advanced understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.Proficiency in security research methodologies and techniques.Experience with threat intelligence platforms and tools.Strong knowledge of operating systems and networking concepts.Ability to write and publish technical research papers and reports.Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence in the context of cybersecurity.
